Detection of Intracellular and Extracellular Deoxynivalenol and 15-Acetyl Deoxynivalenol of Fusarium graminearum by GC-MS

open access: yesZhipu Xuebao
Fusarium graminearum is the main pathogenic fungus causing wheat head blight. It not only causes severe crop yield reduction, but also produces fungal toxins such as deoxynivalenol (DON) and 15-acetyl deoxynivalenol (15-ADON), which are dangerous food ...

Avoidance of stress corrosion susceptibility in high strength aluminum alloys by control of grain boundary and matrix microstructure [PDF]

open access: yes
The relation of microstructure to the mechanical strength and stress corrosion resistance of highest strength and overaged tempers of BAR and 7050 aluminum alloys was investigated. Comparison is made with previously studied 7075 aluminum alloy.

Bioengineering facets of the tumor microenvironment in 3D tumor models: insights into cellular, biophysical and biochemical interactions

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The tumor microenvironment is a dynamic, multifaceted complex system of interdependent cellular, biochemical, and biophysical components. Three‐dimensional in vitro models of the tumor microenvironment enable a better understanding of these interactions and their impact on cancer progression and therapeutic resistance.

Comparative single‐cell transcriptomic profiling of patient‐derived renal carcinoma cells in cellular and animal models of kidney cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We generated and characterized clear cell renal cell carcinoma models using the patient‐derived RCC243 cell line—including cell culture, orthotopic, and metastatic tumors—via single‐cell RNA‐sequencing for comparisons between models and patient tumor datasets.

Haplotype-resolved telomere-to-telomere genome assembly of the dikaryotic fungus pathogen Rhizoctonia cerealis

open access: yesScientific Data
Rhizoctonia cerealis, the causal agent of sharp eyespot, is a highly destructive pathogen of wheat. Despite its global importance, the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying virulence of R. cerealis remain poorly understood. R.

Integrated Review of Transcriptomic and Proteomic Studies to Understand Molecular Mechanisms of Rice’s Response to Environmental Stresses

open access: yesBiology
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is grown nearly worldwide and is a staple food for more than half of the world’s population. With the rise in extreme weather and climate events, there is an urgent need to decode the complex mechanisms of rice’s response to ...
