Dual Targeting of Tau Kinases and Autophagy by Abemaciclib Independent of CDK4/6 Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Abemaciclib rescues cognitive function and attenuates tau pathology in Alzheimer's disease models, but not through its known cancer‐fighting mechanism. This study demonstrates that abemaciclib operates independently of CDK4/6 inhibition, instead directly targeting tau kinases CaMKII and GSK3β while simultaneously promoting autophagic clearance of ...

A Note on Noncommutative String theory and its low energy limit

open access: yes, 2001
The noncommutative string theory is described by embedding open string theory in a constant second rank antisymmetric $B_{\mu\nu}$ field and the noncommutative gauge theory is defined by a deformed $\star$ product. As a check, study of various scattering

IL4I1⁺ Macrophages and TDO2⁺ Myofibroblasts Drive AhR‐Mediated Immunosuppression and Ferroptosis Resistance in Solid Predominant Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Solid predominant lung adenocarcinoma exhibits an immune‐excluded, ferroptosis‐resistant niche enriched with IL4I1⁺ TAMs and TDO2⁺ myCAFs. Spatial and multi‐omics analyses reveal AhR‐driven crosstalk that promotes T cell exhaustion and therapy resistance. Blocking AhR with CH‐223191 restores ferroptosis sensitivity, and its combination with ferroptosis

Massive spectrum in F-theory and the distance conjecture

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the massive states in F-theory compactification models, including BPS string junctions stretching between parallel 7-branes and KK modes. We obtain analytical results when there are two colliding bunches of 7-branes with a locally constant

Error-tolerant Finite State Recognition with Applications to Morphological Analysis and Spelling Correction [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Error-tolerant recognition enables the recognition of strings that deviate mildly from any string in the regular set recognized by the underlying finite state recognizer.

String Quantization in Curved Spacetimes: Null String Approach

open access: yes, 1994
We study quantum strings in strong gravitational fields. The relevant small parameter is $g=R_c{\sqrt T_0}$, where $R_c$ is the curvature of the spacetime and $T_0$ is the string tension. Within our systematic expansion we obtain to zeroth order the null

A Quantum Framework for Protein Binding‐Site Structure Prediction on Utility‐Level Quantum Processors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a hybrid quantum‐classical framework for accurate prediction of protein structures on utility‐level quantum processors. We evaluate the practical application of the Variational Quantum Eigen‐solver (VQE) in protein structure prediction and demonstrate its superiority over state‐of‐the‐art deep learning methods in molecular docking ...

Correction method of test solutions of the general wave equation in the first quarter of the plane for minimal smoothness of its right-hand side

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2018
A method is proposed for correcting of test classical solutions of the general inhomogeneous factorized oscillation equation for a semibounded string in order that they have minimal (necessary) smoothness requirements on its righthand side.

Demystifying the Emergence Proposal

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We revisit the Emergence Proposal in the vector multiplet moduli space of type IIA N = 2 supersymmetric string vacua in four dimensions, for which the string tree-level prepotential and the string one-loop correction are exactly known via mirror symmetry.

Quantitative Proteomics and CRISPR/Cas9 Editing Reveal UPR‐Mediated Control of Immunoglobulin Homeostasis in Hybridomas

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
BCR sequencing and subclone analysis correlated immunoglobulin (Ig) chain loss in dysfunctional hybridomas with disrupted monoclonal antibody homeostasis. Proteomics‐guided CRISPR/Cas9 editing revealed that the unfolded protein response (UPR) regulates aberrant Ig synthesis.
