ABSTRACT Drawing on the theory of gerotranscendence, this research aimed to gain a more comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the age‐loneliness relationship and underlying factors. Data from the BBC Loneliness Experiment (n = 6875, 67.80% female, Mage = 49.26, Rangeage 16–94) were analyzed using polynomial regression and Multi‐Group Structural ...

String-Breaking Dynamics in Quantum Adiabatic and Diabatic Processes
Confinement prohibits isolation of color charges, e.g., quarks, in nature via a process called string breaking: the separation of two charges results in an increase in the energy of a color flux, visualized as a string, connecting those charges ...

ABSTRACT We apply the boundary‐only isothermal formulation of finite‐distance weak gravitational deflection to regular black holes, black‐bounces, traversable wormholes, non‐asymptotically flat backgrounds, and static quadrupolar spacetimes. The methodological advance is not a new value for a known bending angle.

Decoding the Gaugino Code Naturally at High-Lumi LHC
Natural supersymmetry with light higgsinos is most favored to emerge from the string landscape, since the volume of a scan parameter space shrinks to tiny volumes for electroweak unnatural models.

A phenomenological investigation of the string effect
We present results from Monte Carlo calculations of the string effect and the double inclusive correlation of particle flows for three-fold symmetric three-jet events in e+e− annihilation reactions at different energies. We find that the perturbative phase of the jet evolution quickly becomes dominant as energy increases.

One loop phenomenology of type II string theory: intersecting d-branes and noncommutativity [PDF]
We examine one loop amplitudes for open and closed strings in certain D-brane configurations, and investigate the consequences for phenomenology. Initially we consider open strings at D6-brane intersections.

Evolving neural networks with genetic algorithms to study the string landscape
We study possible applications of artificial neural networks to examine the string landscape. Since the field of application is rather versatile, we propose to dynamically evolve these networks via genetic algorithms.

Conformality Emergent In String Phenomenology [PDF]
Use of the AdS/CFT correspondence to arrive at phenomenological gauge field theories is discussed, focusing on the orbifolded case without supersymmetry. An abelian orbifold with the finite group Z_p can give rise to a G = U(N)^p gauge group with chiral fermions and complex scalars in different bi-fundamental representations of G. The naturalness issue
