Broadband S-Band Stripline Circulators: Design, Fabrication, and High-Power Characterization [PDF]

open access: yesMicromachines
A stripline-type circulator is essential for the initial low-power characterization of vacuum electron devices such as magnetrons, enabling accurate measurements of startup behavior, oscillation frequency, and mode structure while minimizing reflections ...

Design of a broadband circularly polarised uniplanar crossed-dipole antenna [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports
This study presents the design of a uniplanar crossed-dipole antenna with broadband characteristics. The antenna comprises a pair of identical crossed-dipole arms printed on the same plane of a dielectric substrate. The crossed-dipole arms are corner-cut

Stripline probes for nuclear magnetic resonance

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance, 2007
A novel route towards chip integrated NMR analysis is evaluated. The basic element in the design is a stripline RF 'coil' which can be defined in a single layer lithographic process and which is fully scalable to smaller dimensions. The sensitivity of such a planar structure can be superior to that of a conventional 3D helix. The basic properties, such

Uncertainty of -Parameter Measurements on PCBs due to Imperfections in the TRL Line Standard [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, 2021
This paper evaluates the uncertainty of S-parameter measurements on multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs) due to the uncertainties of the dimensions and dielectric properties of the line standard in the Thru-Reflect-Line (TRL) calibration.

Sommerfeld Integrals and Their Relation to the Development of Planar Microwave Devices

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Microwaves, 2021
This paper deals with the mathematical expressions called Sommerfeld integrals. Introduced by A. Sommerfeld in 1909, they are mathematically equivalent to inverse Hankel transforms.

A Compact Six-Port Power Divider With Two Independent Out-of-Phase Dividing Operations

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
This paper presents a compact six-port power divider with simple structure that performs two independent out-of-phase divisions. The proposed power divider consists of a uniplanar ring crossover with four transmission lines for output and two feeding ...

Enhanced stripline scanning array [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2001
Previous work demonstrating the successful beam scanning of a three-element array, with integral low bias strength ferrite phase shifters, is extended to show significant improvement by implementing the structure as symmetrical stripline. The maximum beam scan angle is increased by 30% over that of the microstrip array.
