This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

The strong metric dimension of generalized Sierpiński graphs with pendant vertices
Summary: Let \(G\) be a connected graph of order \(n\) having \(\varepsilon(G)\) end-vertices. Given a positive integer \(t\), we denote by \(S(G, t)\) the \(t\)-th generalized Sierpiński graph of \(G\). In this note we show that if every internal vertex of \(G\) is a cut vertex, then the strong metric dimension of \(S(G, t)\) is given by \[ \dim_s(S(G,

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Comparing Two Novel LiDAR‐Based Indices for Quantifying Forest Structural Complexity
Forest structural complexity is critical for ecosystem functions, yet standardized metrics for its quantification remain elusive. This study compares two LiDAR‐derived three‐dimensional indices, the box dimension (Db) as a fractal‐based measure, and ...

Metric and strong metric dimension in TI-power graphs of finite groups
<p>Given a finite group $ G $ with the identity $ e $, the TI-power graph (trivial intersection power graph) of $ G $ is an undirected graph with vertex set $ G $, in which two distinct vertices $ x $ and $ y $ are adjacent if $ \langle x\rangle\cap \langle y\rangle = \{e\} $.
