Privacy Protection Method for k Degree Anonymity Based on Node Classification [PDF]
Existing k degree anonymous privacy protection methods usually damage the graph structure significantly and cannot resist structural background knowledge attacks. To address the problem, this paper proposes an improved k degree anonymous privacy protection

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Hypernetwork Link Prediction Method Based on Fusion of Topology and Attribute Features
Link prediction aims at predicting missing or potential links based on the known information of complex networks. Most existing methods focus on pairwise low-order relationships while ignoring the high-order interaction and the rich attribute information

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

The role of nodes in controlling and observing complex networks.
Dynamic processes on complex networks are closely associated with a variety of real-world systems. The controllability and observability of these networks are critical topics in the field of network science.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

RST as Narrative Structure for Node-Based Editors
Despite Narrative Visualisation's (NarVis) proliferation in academic circles, a narrative structure designed to suit the individual challenges and needs of the discipline is yet to mature. We present both a structure and tool for NarVis that remediates narrative form and concepts using Rhetorical Structure Theory (RST).
