Sr doping regulates oxygen exchange and methane activation in LaFeO3, suppressing nonselective CH4 cracking and coke formation during CL‐DRM. La0.7Sr0.3FeO3 provides the optimal balance, delivering ∼40% CH4 conversion, an H2/CO ratio of 2, and >95% carbon balance.

This study evaluates how small water impurities—typical in ammonia cracking feedstock—affect catalyst performance at elevated pressures and temperatures. By decoupling permanent degradation from reversible inhibition, the findings highlight trace water as a significant factor for reliable catalyst screening and industrial ammonia cracking scale‐up ...

Experimental methods in chemical engineering: Temperature‐programmed oxidation—TPO
Abstract Temperature‐programmed oxidation (TPO) probes the oxidative capacity and redox properties of solid materials—catalysts, metal oxides, perovskites, and carbonaceous deposits. It identifies coke type, distribution, and reactivity. TPO instruments pass an oxidizing gas (diluted O2$$ {\mathrm{O}}_2 $$, air, or less commonly N2O$$ {\mathrm{N}}_2 ...
