The synthesis method for heterojunctions is usually a two-step method, typically involving the synthesis of a support first, followed by the loading of metal oxides or metal molybdates.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Structure optimization in an off-lattice protein model
We study an off-lattice protein toy model with two species of monomers interacting through modified Lennard-Jones interactions. Low energy configurations are optimized using the pruned-enriched-Rosenbluth method (PERM), hitherto employed to native state ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Study on the key structure parameters of a gravity settling chamber based on a flow field simulation
A gravity settling chamber plays an important role in improving the effect of the dust removal when it is selected as a dust collector in a pneumatic cleaning system for cleaning a subway tunnel. The settling rate and the indexes evaluating the secondary

Analysis of a Segmented Annular Coplanar Capacitive Tilt Sensor with Increased Sensitivity
An investigation of a segmented annular coplanar capacitor is presented. We focus on its theoretical model, and a mathematical expression of the capacitance value is derived by solving a Laplace equation with Hankel transform.

Optimal Respiratory Controller Structures
It has been assumed that there exists an explicit "exercise stimulus" (i. e., a signal that is correlated to metabolic CO2 production and appropriately drives breathing). Alternatively, the behavior of the respiratory controller during exercise and inspiratory CO2 loading may be dictated by an optimal controller. The purpose of this paper is to examine

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
