We study collective modes of vortex lattices in two-component Bose–Einstein condensates subject to synthetic magnetic fields in mutually parallel or antiparallel directions. By means of the Bogoliubov theory with the lowest-Landau-level approximation, we

The phase structure of mixed lattice gauge theories
Abstract The mixed compact-non-compact U(1) model is shown to be equivalent to a compact U(1) Higgs model. It is argued that the mixed SO(3)-SU(2) model is dual to an SO(3) gauge theory coupled to a scalar field in the fundamental representation. The degrees of freedom are Z(2) monopoles and charges or, in a dual picture, monopoles and loops.

Fuzzy Soft Sets and Fuzzy Soft Lattices [PDF]
The theory of soft sets was introduced by Molodtsov in 1999 in order to deal with uncertainties. In this paper, the notion of fuzzy soft lattice is defined and some related properties are derived, which extends the notion of a fuzzy lattice to include ...

Phase structure of SU(2) lattice gauge theory with quantum gravity [PDF]
We investigate 4$d$ SU(2) lattice gauge theory with Regge--Einstein quantum gravity on a dynamically coupled Regge skeleton. To overview the phase diagram we perform simulations on a small $2\cdot 4^3$ system. Evidence for an entropy--dominated disordered, an entropy--dominated ordered and an ill--defined region is presented.

Formal concept analysis is a data analysis framework based on lattice theory. In this paper, we analyse the use, inside this framework, of positive and negative (mixed) attributes of a dataset, which has proved to represent more information on the use of

Toughness enhancement of honeycomb lattice structures through heterogeneous design
Inspired by the microstructures feature in the architected composites, which are consisted of a stiff phase and a soft phase, the concept of varying the struts thickness in the uniform honeycomb (UH) is proposed to enhance the toughness of UH structures ...

Bipartite Digraphs with Modular Concept Lattices of height 2
This paper investigates the interaction between Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and graph theory, with a focus on understanding the structure and representation of concept lattices derived from bipartite directed graphs.
