Phase structure of (2 + 1)d strongly coupled lattice gauge theories [PDF]
We study the chiral phase transition in (2+1)d strongly coupled U(N) lattice gauge theories with staggered fermions. We show with high precision simulations performed directly in the chiral limit that these models undergo a Berezinski-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) transition. We also show that this universality class is unaffected even in the large N limit.

VACUUM STRUCTURE OF GAUGE THEORY ON LATTICE WITH TWO PARALLEL PLAQUETTES ACTION [PDF]
We perform Monte–Carlo simulations of a lattice gauge system with an action which contains two parallel plaquettes. The action is defined as a product of gauge group variables over two parallel plaquettes belonging to a given three-dimensional cube.

A Topology Optimization Framework for the Inverse Design of Nonlinear Mechanical Metamaterials
This work uses topology optimization to design unit cells for mechanical metamaterials with a prescribed nonlinear stress–strain response. The framework adds contact and postbuckling modeling to synthesize microstructures for three highly nonlinear responses, including pseudoductile behavior, monostable with snap‐through buckling, and bistable ...

In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

Magnetic skyrmions are quasi-particles with a swirling spin texture that form two-dimensional lattices. Skyrmion lattices can exhibit defects in response to geometric constraints, variations of temperature or applied magnetic fields.

Vacuum structure of pure gauge theories on the lattice
We present results from simulations on two aspects of quark confinement in the pure gauge sector. First is the calculation of the profile of the flux tube connecting a static $q \bar{q}$ pair in $SU(2)$. By using the Michael sum rules as a constraint we give evidence that the energy density at the center of the flux tube goes to a constant as a ...

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Magnetic vortex lattices in finite isospin chiral perturbation theory
We study finite isospin chiral perturbation theory (χPT) in a uniform external magnetic field and find the condensation energy of magnetic vortex lattices using the method of successive approximations (originally used by Abrikosov) near the upper ...
