We examined morphology, 3D arrangement, and mineral amount in cartilaginous vertebrae from four lamniform shark families (Alopiidae, Carchariidae, Cetorhinidae, and Lamnidae). We identified family‐specific mineralization trends, and regional patterning of structures along the column.

The impact of footwear on human talar trabecular architecture
Medial and lateral views of the human foot skeleton in the shod and unshod groups, with color maps representing mean relative trabecular bone volume fraction (rBV/TV) in the talus for each group. The shod group exhibited greater rBV/TV in the medial and posterior talus, whereas the unshod group had greater rBV/TV in the talar head and neck.
