Pharmacological evaluation of Adenostemma lavenia acetone extract in Swiss Albino mice: Analgesic, anti‐inflammatory, and thrombolytic insights from in vivo, in vitro, density functional theory, and molecular docking studies

Adenostemma lavenia, a traditionally used medicinal plant, has been employed to manage pain, inflammation, and circulatory issues. This study investigates the analgesic, anti‐inflammatory, and thrombolytic potentials of the acetone extract of A. lavenia leaves (AEAL) using in vivo, in vitro, and in silico methods.

SDPR–STK38 axis controls the proliferation–differentiation balance in alveolar type II cells

The present study identifies SDPR as a pivotal regulator orchestrating the balance between proliferation and differentiation in alveolar type II (AT2) cells. In SDPR+/+ cells, SDPR binds to and inhibits STK38 activity, thereby sustaining GSK‐3β signaling functionality to promote cyclin D1 degradation and maintain cell cycle homeostasis.

USB1 deficiency disrupts neutrophil maturation via RNA dysregulation independent of global pre‐mRNA splicing

This graphical abstract illustrates the essential role of USB1 in neutrophil maturation. In normal myeloid cells, USB1 acts as an RNA exonuclease, trimming RNA tails to maintain proper RNA network function, which supports the differentiation of myeloid progenitor cells into mature neutrophils.

High Prevalence of SOD1 Pathogenic Variants in the UK Biobank: Implications for Early Intervention in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

Objective SOD1 is the second most frequently mutated gene in European patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Given the recent authorization of SOD1‐targeted antisense oligonucleotides for SOD1‐ALS, prompt screening for SOD1 mutations in patients with ALS patients is highly recommended.
