The effect of partial exchange of sulphonated macroporous styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers for different ions on their catalytic activity

open access: yes, 1981
The catalytic activity of sulphonated macroporous styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers, the exchange capacity of which was neutralized from 30, 50 and 80% by Fe(III) ions and from 30% by Na ions and that of Wofatit Y-37 ion exchanger neutralized from 10% of

Copolymers based on styrene and divinylbenzene synthesized in the presence of DEHPA II evaluation

open access: yes, 1995
The effect of a selective organophosphorus extractant on the structure and properties of styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers was studied. The extractant, added to the polymerization mixture, affected the copolymer morphology.

Cross-Linked Polypropylene Prepared by PP Copolymers Containing Flexible Styrene Groups

open access: yes, 2016
This paper discusses an effective method to prepare cross-linked isotactic polypropylene (PP-X) with high purity (almost 100% gel content and no contamination) and high melting temperature and crystallinity.

Chemically Modified Styrene-Divinylbenzene Copolymers and Their Application to Pre-Concentration of Surfactants

open access: yesAnalytical Sciences, 1991
Two series of resins with both polar and nonpolar regions were synthesized by the introduction of α-oxoalkyl and α-hydroxyalkyl groups to a porous low crosslinked styrene-divinylbenzene. These resins showed higher adsorption capacity for nonionic and anionic surfactants than did the starting resin.

Gaseous mercury behaviour in the presence of functionalized styrene–divinylbenzene copolymers

open access: yes, 2014
Two styrene-6.7 % divinylbenzene copolymers functionalized with aminophosphonate groups and phosphonic acid groups by means of “one-pot” reactions were evaluated for gaseous mercury removal.

ABCD Block Copolymers Using a Multistate Aluminum Complex

open access: yes, 2023
A ferrocene aluminum compound (salfan-H2)Al(OiPr) (salfan-H2 = 1,1’-di(2,4-bis-tert-butyl-salicylamino)ferrocene), with adjustable redox and protonation characteristics, has been synthesized and characterized, and serves as a switchable cata-lyst for ...

Colymers based on styrene and divinylbenzene synthesized in the presence of DEHPA-I: structural characterization

open access: yes, 1995
Styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers were synthetized by suspension polymerization in the presence of –diethylhexylphosphoric acid (DEPHA) and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) as diluents for the monometers. The influence of DEPHA/MEK ratio end dilution degree on

Formation of macroporous styrene–divinylbenzene copolymer networks: Theory vs. experiments

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, 1999
A kinetic-thermodynamic model is presented to predict the total porosities of macroporous copolymer networks formed by free-radical crosslinking copolymeriza- tion of styrene (S) and commercial divinylbenzene (DVB, a mixture of meta and para DVB isomers and ethylstyrene).
