A kinetic-thermodynamic model is presented to predict the total porosities of macroporous copolymer networks formed by free-radical crosslinking copolymeriza- tion of styrene (S) and commercial divinylbenzene (DVB, a mixture of meta and para DVB isomers and ethylstyrene).

スチレン- ジビニルベンゼン球状共重合体塩化第ニスズを触媒としクロルメチルエーテルで処理し, 芳香核にほぼ1個のクロルメチル基を導入した後20数種のアミンでアミノ化し, 塩基性の異なる陰イオン交換樹脂を合成した。弱塩基性樹脂では,ポリエチレンポリアミン系のものが最もよく, また強塩基性樹脂では, トリメチルアミン, ジメチルエタノールアミン, トリエタノールアミンがよい。アミノ化に対する膨潤剤の影響は大きく, 膨潤剤を使用しない場合には, アミノ化は架橋度が5%でも困難で適切な膨潤剤の選定がよい性能の樹脂をうるために必要である。
