Subacute Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus in Childhood
Pediatric Dermatology, 2003Abstract: We report a 7‐year‐old girl who presented with erythematous‐infiltrated, figurate, well‐defined lesions over sun‐exposed skin and antinuclear and Ro/SSA antibodies. Lupus band test revealed granular IgM and microgranular C3 deposits at the dermoepidermal junction.

Subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus-immunogenetic associations
Journal of Autoimmunity, 1991Thirty-two patients who fulfilled criteria for subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE) were examined for their immunogenetic associations. Our results confirm the previously reported association of HLA-DR3 (15/31 48% P less than 0.01) and also demonstrate an increase in HLA-DR2 (14/31, 45%, P = less than 0.05).

Acebutolol-Induced Subacute Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus
Skin Pharmacology and Physiology, 2005Beta-blocking medications are rarely associated with drug-induced lupus erythematosus syndrome and have never been incriminated as a cause of subacute lupus erythematosus (SCLE). We present herein the first case of SCLE induced by acebutolol. A 57-year-old woman presented with a 1-month history of a cutaneous eruption of the photoexposed areas.
