Advancements in Understanding the Physicochemical Properties of Reticular Materials: An In Situ and Operando Spectroscopic Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores how in situ and operando spectroscopic techniques reveal the real‐time behavior of reticular materials, including MOFs and COFs. These methods track material formation and functionalization, structural changes, defect formation, dynamic responses to external triggers, and catalytic processes.

Four-dimensional Riemannian manifolds with two circulant structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We consider a class (M, g, q) of four-dimensional Riemannian manifolds M, where besides the metric g there is an additional structure q, whose fourth power is the unit matrix.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Differences in carbohydrate content of low density lipoproteins associated with low density lipoprotein subclass patterns

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1990
The neutral carbohydrate content of both the protein (apoB) and lipid fractions of low density lipoproteins (LDL) from subjects with a predominance of small, dense LDL (subclass pattern B) was found to be lower than in subjects with larger LDL (subclass ...

Adaptive Twisting Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces torque‐controlled twisting metamaterials as a transformative platform for adaptive crashworthiness. By combining multiscale predictive modeling with experimental validation on additively manufactured gyroids, it demonstrates tunable stiffness, collapse stress, and energy absorption.

A New Subclass of Salagean-Type Harmonic Univalent Functions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2010
We define and investigate a new subclass of Salagean-type harmonic univalent functions. We obtain coefficient conditions, extreme points, distortion bounds, convolution, and convex combination for the above subclass of harmonic functions.

Solution‐Processable, Ladder‐Branched Polyimides of Intrinsic Microporosity by [4+4] Cycloaddition for Membrane Gas Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An effective post‐synthetic modification strategy utilizing [4+4] cycloaddition is demonstrated to fabricate ladder‐branched polyimides of intrinsic microporosity (PIM‐PIs) with significantly enhanced performance characteristics for membrane‐based gas separation.

Lipoprotein subclass metabolism in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis[S]

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 2014
Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is associated with increased synthesis of triglycerides and cholesterol coupled with increased VLDL synthesis in the liver. In addition, increased cholesterol content in the liver associates with NASH.
