Entrainment and Mixing in a Round Submerged Water Jet

Donaldらの装置を改良した角形水槽を用いて。円形水ジェットについて実験を行ない, 次の結諭を得た。1) ジェット角度はほぼ14Gである。2) 軸方向と半径方向の速度分布ならびに濃度分布を測定し、em, e, とScturbを算出した。その結果, 半径方向分布はどれもガウスの誤差曲線でほぼ近似できることを認めた。3) ジェット同伴量を直接測定し実験式を与えるとともに, 流速分布より同伴量式を求めほぼ両者が一致することを確かめた。
