NASTRAN multipartitioning and one-shot substructuring [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
For intermediate size problems where all the data is accessible, the present method of substructuring in three separate phases (for static analysis) is unneccessarily cumbersome.

Improved recovery of admissible stress in domain decomposition methods - application to heterogeneous structures and new error bounds for FETI-DP [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This paper investigates the question of the building of admissible stress field in a substructured context. More precisely we analyze the special role played by multiple points.

Metabologenomic Hallmark‐Based Discovery of Bacterial Thioamides as a New Lead against Drug‐Resistant Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A targeted metabologenomic strategy integrating genomic and metabolomic hallmarks enabled the discovery of two new thioamides, thiogochangamides A and B, from bacteria. Their absolute configurations, previously unresolved within the thioviridamide family, were fully assigned through various chemical derivatizations and computational analysis ...

An inverse method for deriving structural modification of a subsystem based on changes in mechanical energy to allocate multiple resonant frequencies

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu
NV (Noise and Vibration) performance is one of the key product qualities of a mechanical system. Isolating all resonant frequencies from the frequency band where excitation forces are high is an important strategy for improving NV performance. However, a

The investigation of the dynamic behaviour of a complex assembled structure using the frequency response function based substructuring method

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
The frequency response function based substructuring method (FRF-BSM) for modelling and investigating dynamic behaviour of engineering structures has received much attention in recent years among modal analysts.

Optimizing lightweight structures with particle damping using frequency based substructuring

open access: yesDesign Science, 2020
In many cases, the use of damping technologies is the only option to reduce undesired vibrations. Despite various damping techniques available on the market, the design of a precise damping behaviour still needs a lot of experimental testing and ...

GloPath: An Entity‐Centric Foundation Model for Glomerular Lesion Assessment and Clinicopathological Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An entity‐centric foundation model, GloPath, is introduced for comprehensive glomerular lesion assessment from routine renal biopsy images. Trained on over one million glomeruli, the framework enables robust lesion recognition, grading, and cross modality diag nosis, while uncovering large‐scale clinicopathological associations.

Interval and fuzzy eigenfrequency analysis of uncertain substructured FE models

open access: yesComputer Assisted Methods in Engineering and Science, 2022
This paper uses an interval and fuzzy finite element approach for the eigenfrequency analysis of a mechanical structure with uncertain parameters. The component mode synthesis method is applied for the numerical reduction of the structure, in order to ...

Cis‐ and Trans‐Regulatory Factors Independently Shape Phenotypic Heterogeneity of Retinitis Pigmentosa

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A zebrafish model carrying an identical human RHO S334X allele reveals two independent genetic layers shaping retinitis pigmentosa (RP) severity: a protective 3‐bp cis‐regulatory insertion that attenuates transgene expression, and a dominant trans‐acting modifier that restores a severe phenotype.

General Formulation of Inverse Substructuring Method for Multicoordinate Coupled System

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2014
A frequency response function- (FRF-) based direct decoupling method is proposed and applied to inverse analysis of a multicoordinate coupled system. The general formulation of inverse substructuring method for multicoordinate coupled multisubstructure ...
