MODERN CONSTRUCTIONS OF UNDERGROUND SUBWAY TUNNELS
In this article, the results of the study of modern designs of underground subway tunnels are recommended to work on the model of modern constructions of underground subway tunnels from developed countries. According to the results of the conducted experimental-theoretical research, it is necessary to implement the modern construction of underground ...

Our study reveals that caving‐enhanced geothermal systems (C‐EGS) with adequately fractured reservoirs achieve optimal heat extraction by minimizing preferential flow paths, while conventional fracturing (F‐EGS) and pipe‐based (P‐EGS) systems suffer accelerated thermal drawdown.

This study examines energy evolution in rock rupture via triaxial direct shear tests, exploring the impact of confining pressure and temperature on fracture surface randomness. A novel energy‐based brittleness index is proposed, validated experimentally, and compared with existing methods for reliability and accuracy.

Seismic waves with tensile stress, high amplitude, and low frequency are most likely to trigger block instability and sliding. Blocks with a single sliding surface are more prone to movement than those with multiple constraints, and roof‐positioned blocks are especially vulnerable to slide.
