A Dual‐Bioresponsive and Programmable Microneedle Matrix as a Bioinspired Coupler for Orchestrating Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

Sugar Concentration in Frozen Sap

open access: yes, 2017
Native Americans are the first people credited with processing syrup from the sap of maples trees, and the processes used to make maple syrup today are derived from their techniques (Henshaw, 1890).

Fluctuations of the Concentration of "Blood-sugar" in Vitro.

open access: yesExperimental Biology and Medicine, 1930
In previous reports we have discussed the behavior of the bloodsugar under various conditions. It was first shown1 that when blood from diabetic dogs was dialyzed against Ringer's solution the sugar dialyzed out at an irregular rate as compared with normal blood containing added glucose.

Conductive Additives for Next‐Generation Batteries: Emphasizing the Potential of Bio‐Derived 3D Carbon Architectures at Electrode–Electrolyte Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
3D conductive frameworks can maintain continuous electron transport, mechanical stability, and interfacial integrity, helping next‐generation batteries operate more efficiently. This Review examines their relevance to Si anodes, all‐solid‐state batteries, and dry‐processed electrodes, and highlights bio‐derived carbons as sustainable, structurally ...

Effect of Gelatin and Sugar Concentration on the Characteristic of Panna Cotta [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Panna cotta is an Italian dessert made from heavy whipping cream, milk, gelatin and sugar. The formula of Italian panna cotta is less suitable to be applied in Indonesia because heavy whipping cream is unavailable in Indonesia and people don’t like thick

Hierarchical Structure and Fabrication of Functionally Graded Biointerfaces in the Mussel Byssus

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The byssus is a fibrous protein‐based holdfast consisting of mechanically distinct interfaces, which mussels use to anchor their soft living tissue to hard seashore surfaces. Here, multiscale methodologies were used to elucidate the compositional and structural features underlying these functionally graded interfaces and how they are fabricated through

Sugar concentration preference in the Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris).

open access: yes, 1996
The purpose of my study was to determine sugar concentration preference of the Archilochus colubris (Ruby-throated Hummingbird). Feeders were arranged with 10, 25, and 40 percent solutions of sugar water.

Sifat fisikokimia marshmallow kulit buah naga merah (Holycereus polyrhizus) dengan perbedaan konsentrasi sari lemon dan gula pasir

open access: yesTeknologi Pangan: Media Informasi dan Komunikasi Ilmiah Teknologi Pertanian
The red dragon fruit peel (Hylocereus polyrhizus), which is often discarded as waste around 30–35% of the total fruit, has potential as a natural food colorant.
