Geochemical approach in assessing the technogenic impact on soils

open access: yesЗаписки Горного института, 2020
The soil assessment was carried out in the technogenically-affected area of Irkutsk Oblast with the geochemical approach as a key geoecological method using physical and chemical techniques of analysis and ecodiagnostics.

Control of cell division in the adult brain by heparan sulfates in fractones and vascular basement membranes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Regulation of cell division in adult tissues and organs requires the coordination of growth factors at the surface of potentially-dividing cells in specific anatomic loci named germinal niches.

A SULFATE CONUNDRUM: DISSOLVED SULFATES OF DEEP-SALINE BRINES AND CARBONATE ASSOCIATED SULFATES [PDF]

open access: yesGeological Society of America Abstracts with Programs, 2016
Abstract Sulfates in deeply circulating brines and carbonate-associated sulfates (CAS) within sedimentary units of the Cambrian strata in the Illinois Basin record a complex history. Dissolved sulfate within the Mt. Simon Sandstone brines exhibits average δ34 S SO 4 values of 35.4‰ and δ18 O SO 4 values of 14.

Integrative miRNOMe profiling reveals the miR‐195‐5p–CHEK1 axis and its impact on luminal breast cancer outcomes

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In luminal (ER+) breast carcinoma (BC), miRNA profiling identified miR‐195‐5p as a key regulator of proliferation that targets CHEK1, CDC25A, and CCNE1. High CHEK1 expression correlates with worse relapse‐free survival after chemotherapy, especially in patients with luminal A subtype.

The heparanome—The enigma of encoding and decoding heparan sulfate sulfation

open access: yesJournal of Biotechnology, 2007
Heparan sulfate (HS) is a cell surface carbohydrate polymer modified with sulfate moieties whose highly ordered composition is central to directing specific cell signaling events. The ability of the cell to generate these information rich glycans with such specificity has opened up a new field of "heparanomics" which seeks to understand the systems ...

Advanced glycation end products promote the release of endothelial cell‐derived mitocytosis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Under diabetic conditions, AGEs induce mitochondrial damage in HUVECs, activating migrasome‐mediated mitocytosis. Migrasomes encapsulate damaged mitochondria and are released into the extracellular space, facilitating intercellular mitochondrial transfer.

BALKAN YARIMADASI'NDA JEOLOJİK ZAMAN BOYUNCA SÜLFÜR

open access: yesBulletin of the Mineral Research and Exploration, 2002

Profiling intact steroid sulfates and unconjugated steroids in biological fluids by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS-MS).

open access: yesIn Analysis, 2013
Within the combined DFG research project "Sulfated Steroids in Reproduction" an analytical method was needed for determining sulfated and unconjugated steroids with highest specificity out of different biological matrices such as aqueous solution, cell ...

Enhanced discovery of bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase through computer simulation and metagenomic analysis of industrial wastewater

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We obtained potential bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase (LMCO) sequences through metagenomic sequencing. All sequences exhibited significant differences from known LMCOs in databases. To select the most promising candidates, we performed structure prediction and molecular docking using alphafold2, metal3d and rosetta.

DTA and TGA study of MeSo4 (Me = Fe, Co, Ni) dissociation in the presence of coke [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mining and Metallurgy. Section B: Metallurgy, 2002
MeSO4 (Me = Fe, Co, Ni) dissociation is investigated in order to estimate the effect of temperature, time and presence of coke as reducer on the degree and mechanism of dissociation.
