Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

A series of optically active 5(S)-(l-bornyloxy)- and 5(S)-(l-menthyloxy)-2(5H)-furanones with an arylthio group at the C(4) position of the γ-lactone ring was synthesized and studied for its oxidation reactions with various reagents. Novel 2(5H)-furanone

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Monitoring of Methionine Sulfoxide Content and Methionine Sulfoxide Reductase Activity [PDF]
The sulfur-containing amino acid methionine (Met) plays critical roles in protein synthesis, methylation, and sulfur metabolism. Both in its free form and in the form of an amino acid residue, it can be oxidized to the R and S diastereomers of methionine sulfoxide (MetO).

Racemic-Benzimidazolyl Pentafluorobenzyl Sulfoxide
As a part of our research on the presence of conglomerates among the aryl benzyl sulfoxides, racemic-benzimidazolyl pentafluorobenzyl sulfoxide was synthesised, and its crystal structure was determined by a single crystal X-ray diffraction experiment ...

Capillary Electrophoretic Separation of Sulfoxides
Chiral sulfoxides are most widely used in asymmetric synthesis. Their application as chiral synthons has now become a well-established and reliable strategy, mainly due to availability and high asymmetric induction exerted by the chiral sulfinyl group ...

Desulfurization of Diaryl(heteroaryl) Sulfoxides with Benzyne
Two benzyne-enabled desulfurization reactions have been demonstrated which convert diaryl sulfoxides and heteroaryl sulfoxides to biaryls and desulfurized heteroarenes, respectively. The reaction accessing biaryls tolerates a variety of functional groups,

Designed Lewis Acid–Base Passivation for High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells
ABSTRACT Silicon's high cost and long energy payback time remain major barriers to the global expansion of solar power. In contrast, metal–halide perovskites offer abundant, solution‐processable absorbers, and have achieved efficiencies of 25%–30%, positioning them as strong competitors to silicon.

A molecular shielding strategy to convert “protein‐sticky” and “non‐tumor specific” clinical ICG dye, into a “low protein binding” and “tumor‐targeting” dye with prolonged blood circulation and renal clearance is described. These shielded ICGs demonstrate strong tumor accumulation and optimal tissue clearance, resulting in high tumor‐to‐background ...
