A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Stečkin inequalities for summability methods

open access: yes, 1997
Stečkin proved an inequality on Fejér means of Fourier series He said, Proving similar inequality for other summability method is an interesting problem.

MATRIX SUMMABILITY OF SEQUENCES OF SETS

open access: yes, 2022
The concept of strong Cesàro summability of sequences of closed sets with respect to a modulus is extended to a concept of strong T-summability with respect to a modulus when T is a nonnegative regular matrix summability method.

Banach-Mackey, locally complete spaces, and ℓp,q-summability

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
We defined the ℓp,q-summability property and study the relations between the ℓp,q-summability property, the Banach-Mackey spaces and the locally complete spaces.

Chameleon sequences reveal structural effects in proteins representing micelle‐like distribution of hydrophobicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

An application of almost increasing sequences

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
We extended a theorem of Mishra and Srivastava (1983–1984) on |C,1|k summability factors, using almost increasing sequences, to |N¯,pn|k summability under weaker conditions.

On λ-statistical and Vλ-statistical summability in neutrosophic-2-normed spaces [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
In the present paper, we aim to define λ-statistical summability, Vλ-statistical summability in neutrosophic-2-normed spaces (briefly called N − 2 − NS) and study some relationships among these notions.
