A Non-G-Quadruplex Hemin Aptamer Forms a Better Peroxidase Mimicking DNAzyme. [PDF]
ChembiochemA non‐G‐quadruplex aptamer exhibits peroxidase‐like activity when binding to hemin, forming a DNAzyme. This DNAzyme displays a pH‐rate profile similar to horseradish peroxidase, whereas a G‐quadruplex‐based DNAzyme shows an opposite trend. These two aptamers also show distinct hemin‐dependent nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy behaviors.
