Superoxide dismutase inhibitor screening and characterization using ¹?F NMR [PDF]
Superoxide dismutase enzymes (SOD) catalyze the disproportionation of superoxide to form molecular oxygen and hydrogen peroxide in a cyclic mechanism. SODs prevent the formation of hydroxyl radicals, preventing apoptosis.

Hollow cuprous oxide (H‐Cu2O) nanozymes feature enlarged catalytic surfaces for superior reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging. By efficiently neutralizing mucosal ROS, H‐Cu2O directly suppresses the TXNIP/NLRP3 inflammasome axis and restores intestinal epithelial barrier integrity.

A New Method for the Purification of Cu-Zn Superoxide Dismutase from Human Erythrocytes [PDF]
The human erythrocyte is a rich raw material for the purification of Cu-Zn superoxide dismutase (SOD). We applied a simple and rapid procedure for the purification of SOD from human erythrocytes by ion exchange chromatography.

Bovine Cu, Zn superoxide dismutase.
The following thesis examines the effects of ionic strength and solution composition on the thermal stability and. activity of bovine erythrocyte superoxide dismutase (BESOD). An indirect assay procedure was employed. The oxidation of xanthine, catalyzed

This study unveils a novel antibacterial mechanism against MRSA, in which the compound Py‐27 selectively targets and inhibits aspartate transcarbamoylase (ATCase), a key enzyme in pyrimidine synthesis. This inhibition disrupts DNA replication, induces oxidative damage, leading to potent bactericidal activity.
