Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Numerical Investigations of the Effects of Sidewall Compression and Relaminarization in 3D Scramjet Inlet

open access: yes, 2011
This paper presents the numerical simulations and performance analysis of a 3D scramjet inlet with focus on the effects of sidewall compression and relaminarization. A well-validated finite volume flow solver was used to simulate a scramjet inlet with a

Potential Flow Theory Formulation of Parker’s Unsteady Solar Wind Model and Nonlinear Stability of Parker’s Steady Solar Wind Solution

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The purpose of this paper is to present a novel optimal theoretical framework based on potential flow theory in ideal gas dynamics, which provides a smooth extrapolation of Parker’s steady solar wind model to the unsteady case.

Experimental study on the oblique shock waves and expansion waves in the supersonic carbon dioxide two-phase flow

open access: yesMechanical Engineering Journal, 2016
Recently, with the appearance of the two-phase flow ejector in refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump systems, the efficiency of the cycle has largely been improved in comparison with that of conventional cooling and heating systems.

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Investigation of computational techniques for the prediction of supersonic dynamic flows [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A computational investigation was undertaken to examine techniques for predicting supersonic dynamic flows, involving unsteadiness over fixed and moving surfaces. The fixed geometries examined were cylinder-flares and compression ramps, and the moving

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

Uncertainty Analysis of Supersonic Biplane's Aerodynamic Characteristics

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2019
Utilizing the interference of shock and expansion waves, supersonic biplane can reduce the wave drag remarkably. However, the supersonic biplane is only designed at special conditions, so that it has poor performance at off-design conditions.

Supersonic condensing steam jet measurements using TDLAS

open access: yes, 2019
Ejectors have no moving parts and are preferable to mechanical compressors in many applications, but ejectors typically have a relatively low efficiency.

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe
