Wegner estimate and upper bound on the eigenvalue condition number of non‐Hermitian random matrices

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 77, Issue 9, Page 3785-3840, September 2024.
Abstract We consider N×N$N\times N$ non‐Hermitian random matrices of the form X+A$X+A$, where A$A$ is a general deterministic matrix and NX$\sqrt {N}X$ consists of independent entries with zero mean, unit variance, and bounded densities. For this ensemble, we prove (i) a Wegner estimate, that is, that the local density of eigenvalues is bounded by N1+o(

Link splitting deformation of colored Khovanov–Rozansky homology

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 129, Issue 3, September 2024.
Abstract We introduce a multiparameter deformation of the triply‐graded Khovanov–Rozansky homology of links colored by one‐column Young diagrams, generalizing the “y$y$‐ified” link homology of Gorsky–Hogancamp and work of Cautis–Lauda–Sussan. For each link component, the natural set of deformation parameters corresponds to interpolation coordinates on ...

HyperK\"ahler quotients and N=4 gauge theories in D=2

open access: yes, 1994
We consider certain N=4 supersymmetric gauge theories in D=2 coupled to quaternionic matter multiplets in a minimal way. These theories admit as effective theories sigma-models on non-trivial HyperK\"ahler manifolds obtained as HyperK\"ahler quotients ...

Effects of additional Higgses in supersymmetric grand unified theories

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1982
Abstract We consider modifications of the minimal supersymmetric SU(5) grand unified model. With the additional Higgses 10 + 10 , the theory may be modified so that the proton decays dominantly via the conventional mode p→e+π with the lifetime πp=(0.04-710)×1030yr, and sin2θW=0.222±0.003.

The Chiral Ring of D=4$D=4$, N=1${\mathcal {N}}=1$ SYM with Exceptional Gauge Groups

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 5, May 2024.
Abstract The Cachazo–Douglas–Seiberg–Witten conjecture, concerning the algebraic structure of the chiral ring in N=1${\mathcal {N}}=1$, D=4$D=4$ supersymmetric Yang–Mills theory, is proven for exceptional gauge groups. This completes the proof of the conjecture.

Dynamical Supersymmetry Breaking and the Linear Multiplet [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
We analyze gaugino condensation in the presence of a dilaton and an antisymmetric tensor field, with couplings reminiscent of string theories. The degrees of freedom relevant to a supersymmetric description of the effective theory below the scale of ...

On holomorphic dependence and infrared effects in supersymmetric gauge theories

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1991
Abstract According to general theorems in supersymmetric gauge theories the chiral quantities should depend on the chiral parameters in a holomorphic way. By chiral parameters we mean the complex coefficients in front of the chiral structures such as the mass parameters of the matter fields or the gauge coupling constant.

Holomorphic scalar portals and the OPE

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Visible-sector SUSY-breaking effects are computed in terms of hidden-sector correlation functions for generic holomorphic scalar portals. The solutions, which are valid irrespective of the hidden-sector dynamics, are approximated with the help of the ...
