Effects of additional Higgses in supersymmetric grand unified theories
Abstract We consider modifications of the minimal supersymmetric SU(5) grand unified model. With the additional Higgses 10 + 10 , the theory may be modified so that the proton decays dominantly via the conventional mode p→e+π with the lifetime πp=(0.04-710)×1030yr, and sin2θW=0.222±0.003.

Basis for non-factorizable superamplitudes in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 supersymmetry
In this paper we develop a semi-standard Young tableau (SSYT) approach to construct a basis of non-factorizable superamplitudes in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 massless supersymmetry.

Aspects of finite temperature corrections in string theory
PhDIn this thesis some aspects of temperature corrections in string theory are analyzed: in particular, we study the thermal contributions to the 4 dimensional effective potential arising from string theory compactifications.

Manifestly N=2 supersymmetric regularization for N=2 supersymmetric field theories
We formulate the higher covariant derivative regularization for N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories in N=2 harmonic superspace. This regularization is constructed by adding the N=2 supersymmetric higher derivative term to the classical action and inserting

An Algebro-Geometric Approach to Twisted Indices of Supersymmetric Gauge Theories [PDF]
This thesis studies the algebro-geometric aspects of supersymmetric abelian gauge theories in three dimensions. The supersymmetric vacua are demonstrated to exhibit a window phenomenon in Chern-Simons levels, which is analogous to the window phenomenon ...

A unique coupling of the massive spin-2 field to supergravity
We show that the coupling of a massive spin-2 field to undeformed N = 1 $$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ supergravity in four dimensions is unique, leading to a specific non-minimal coupling to the Riemann tensor.

EFFECTIVE ACTION OF SOFTLY BROKEN SUPERSYMMETRIC THEORIES
We study the renormalization of (softly) broken supersymmetric theories at the one loop level in detail. We perform this analysis in a superspace approach in which the supersymmetry breaking interactions are parameterized using spurion insertions.

On holomorphic dependence and infrared effects in supersymmetric gauge theories
Abstract According to general theorems in supersymmetric gauge theories the chiral quantities should depend on the chiral parameters in a holomorphic way. By chiral parameters we mean the complex coefficients in front of the chiral structures such as the mass parameters of the matter fields or the gauge coupling constant.
