Harmonic Superspace Approach to the Effective Action in Six-Dimensional Supersymmetric Gauge Theories

open access: yes, 2019
We review the recent progress in studying the quantum structure of 6 D , N = ( 1 , 0 ) , and N = ( 1 , 1 ) supersymmetric gauge theories formulated through unconstrained harmonic superfields.

A renormalization group study of supersymmetric field theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This thesis analyses scalar supersymmetric field theories within the framework of the functional renormalization group (FRG). Classical physics on microscopic scales is connected to the effective model on macroscopic scales via the scale-dependent ...

Holomorphic scalar portals and the OPE

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Visible-sector SUSY-breaking effects are computed in terms of hidden-sector correlation functions for generic holomorphic scalar portals. The solutions, which are valid irrespective of the hidden-sector dynamics, are approximated with the help of the ...

Summary of results in N=1 supersymmetric SU(2) gauge theories

open access: yes, 1995
We summarize some results in 4d, N=1 supersymmetric SU(2) gauge theories: the exact effective superpotentials, the vacuum structure, and the exact effective Abelian couplings for arbitrary bare masses and Yukawa couplings. We summarize some results in 4d,

Quantum versus gravitational effects in supersymmetric theories

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1983
Abstract We consider what happens when certain globally supersymmetric grand unified models are coupled to N = 1 supergravity. Treating only leading (i.e. tree level) gravitational effects while treating non-gravitational effects to all orders, we show how the original globally supersymmetric theory is recovered as M p → ∞.

Light threshold effects in supersymmetric grand unified theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
Supersymmetric Grand Unified Theories have a rich spectrum of particles barely heavier than the intermediate vector bosons. As their non-supersymmetric counterparts, they lead to many relations among low energy observables. But the precise form of the predictions is modified by the extended spectrum.

Bands and gaps in Nekrasov partition function

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We discuss the effective twisted superpotentials of 2d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = (2, 2) theories arising upon the reduction of 4d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 gauge theories on the Ω-deformed cigar-like geometry.

Soft bootstrap and supersymmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
The soft bootstrap is an on-shell method to constrain the landscape of effective field theories (EFTs) of massless particles via the consistency of the low-energy S-matrix.

Consequences of the non-abelian anomaly in supersymmetric theories

open access: yes, 1985
In supersymmetric theories, the anomalous interactions involving the Goldstone supermultiplets are found not to be determined from supersymmetry considerations alone: they depend also on the dynamical details of the model.

Holographic effective field theories: a case study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
The identification of the low-energy effective field theory associated with a given microscopic strongly interacting microscopic theory constitutes a fundamental problem in theoretical physics, particularly challenging when the theory is not sufficiently
