Background field calculations and nonrenormalization theorems in 4d supersymmetric gauge theories and their low-dimensional descendants

open access: yes, 2005
Additional comments and references are added, particularly, on the gauge dependenceWe analyze the structure of multiloop supergraphs contributing to the effective Lagrangians in 4d supersymmetric gauge theories and in the models obtained from them by ...

Supersymmetric Gauge Theories and Matrix Models

open access: yes, 2003
We discuss recent developments in supersymmetric field theory due to the conjecture of Dijkgraaf and Vafa relating the effective superpotential of such theories to the computation of an associated matrix model.

Extending AdS/CFT: dual states for new geometries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this thesis we present research that extends our knowledge of the AdS/CFT correspondence; in particular we look at various non-supersymmetric Spacetimes and their conjectured dual field theory states.

New symmetries of supersymmetric effective Lagrangians.

open access: yes, 1995
We consider the structure of effective lagrangians describing the low-energy dynamics of supersymmetric theories in which a global symmetry $G$ is spontaneously broken to a subgroup $H$ while supersymmetry is unbroken.

Effective lagrangian for supersymmetric theories with intermediate breaking scale

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1984
Abstract We investigate effective lagrangians in supersymmetric models broken spontaneously at an intermediate energy (∼ μ ⪡ M GUT ). It is shown to all orders in perturbation theory that the low-energy interactions of light particles are described by an effective lagrangian with explicit but soft supersymmetry breaking of order μ 2 / M GUT .

Remarks on integrability of $$\mathcal{N}$$ = 1 supersymmetric Ruijsenaars-Schneider three-body models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Integrability of $$\mathcal{N}$$ = 1 supersymmetric Ruijsenaars-Schneider three-body models based upon the potentials $$W\left(x\right)=\frac{2}{x}$$ , $$W\left(x\right)=\frac{2}{{\text{sin}}x}$$ , and $$W\left(x\right)=\frac{2}{{\text{sinh}}x}$$ is ...

Spinorial Cohomology and Maximally Supersymmetric Theories

open access: yes, 2001
Fields in supersymmetric gauge theories may be seen as elements in a spinorial cohomology. We elaborate on this subject, specialising to maximally supersymmetric theories, where the superspace Bianchi identities, after suitable conventional constraints ...
