Two-dimensional N = 2 Super-Yang-Mills Theory
Supersymmetry is one of the possible scenarios for physics beyond the standard model. The building blocks of this scenario are supersymmetric gauge theories.

Singular BPS boundary conditions in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = (2, 2) supersymmetric gauge theories
We derive general BPS boundary conditions in two-dimensional N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = (2, 2) supersymmetric gauge theories. We analyze the solutions of these boundary conditions, and in particular those that allow the bulk fields to have poles at the ...

Branes and supersymmetry breaking in 3D gauge theories [PDF]
It is shown that supersymmetry is spontaneously broken in certain three-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories, by using the s-rule in their string theory realization as brane configurations.

Remarks on the analytic structure of supersymmetric effective actions
We study the effective superpotential of N=1 supersymmetric gauge theories with a mass gap, whose analytic properties are encoded in an algebraic curve.

Non‐Relativistic Limit of Dirac Hamiltonians With Aharonov–Bohm Fields
ABSTRACT We characterize the families of self‐adjoint Dirac and Schrödinger operators with Aharonov–Bohm magnetic field, and we exploit the non‐relativistic limit of infinite light speed to connect the former to the latter. The limit consists of the customary removal of the rest energy and of a suitable scaling, with the light speed, of the short‐scale

A note on D0-branes and instantons in 5d supersymmetric gauge theories
We refine a previous proposal for obtaining the multi-instanton partition function from the supersymmetric index of the 1d supersymmetric gauge theory on the worldline of D0-branes.

ABSTRACT We propose a manifestly duality‐invariant, Lorentz‐invariant, and local action to describe quantum electrodynamics in the presence of magnetic monopoles that derives from Sen's formalism. By employing field strengths as the dynamical variables, rather than potentials, this formalism resolves longstanding ambiguities in prior frameworks.

One-loop renormalisation of general N=1/2 supersymmetric gauge theory [PDF]
We investigate the one-loop renormalisability of a general N=1/2 supersymmetric gauge theory coupled to chiral matter, and show the existence of an N=1/2 supersymmetric SU(N)xU(1) theory which is renormalisable at one loop.Comment: 30 pages, including 8 ...

Coordinate‐ and Spacetime‐Independent Quantum Physics
This article studies in the framework of quantum field theory in curved spacetime, if there exists a single zero‐rank‐tensor solution of a Klein‐Gordon PDE, being valid at once for the depicted spacetimes. The answer is shown to be affirmative, even for a class of such solutions having the standard applications in particle physics. ABSTRACT The concept

Off-shell supersymmetry via manifest invariance
A fundamental challenge in supersymmetric field theory is that supersymmetry transformations on field variables generally form an algebra only on-shell, i.e. upon imposing the field equations. We show that this issue is defused in a manifestly relational
