Support sizes of completely decomposable triple systems

Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences and Cryptography, 2001
Abstract In this paper, we determine the spectrum of support sizes of completely decomposable triple systems TS(v, λ) for λ = 2, 3 and all admissible v.

Size and Support Ratings of US Banks

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2014
We examine whether Fitch support ratings of US banks depend on bank size. Using quarterly data for the period 2004:Q4 to 2012:Q4 and controlling for several factors that make large and small banks different, we find that bank size is positively related to support ratings. However, the effect is non-linear in line with the 'too-big-to-rescue' hypothesis.

Size-dependent field-emission spectra from nanometer-size supported gold clusters

Physical Review B, 1992
The energy spectra of electrons field emitted from individual, supported Au clusters have been measured as a function of cluster size. Data are presented for clusters with nominal diameters in the range 1.3--3.2 nm. For the smallest clusters, the energy of the field-emitted electrons lies below the Fermi level of the substrate and fine structure in the

Support Sizes

1999
Abstract Triple systems are permitted to have repeated triples, triples that arc identical as 3-subsets. A theme throughout studies of triple systems is the goal to produce simpletriple systems having no repeated blocks. However, in some applications, the presence of repeated triples poses no difficulty. In fact, for certain applications

Towards a Correlation Between Iron/Cobalt Content, Support Pore Size and Metal Particle Size in Supported Catalysts

ChemNanoMat, 2023
AbstractFe−Co‐based catalysts supported on γ‐Al2O3, Aerosil 200 silica and zeolite 4A were prepared by co‐precipitation of the respective nitrates in the presence of ammonium hydroxide. The objective was to demonstrate the influence of Fe/Co mass ratio and support pore size on metal particle size.

Crystallite size distribution in supported catalysts

Journal of Applied Crystallography, 1974
A correction method has been devised in order to eliminate spurious details from the G(M) particle-size function. The method is based on the elimination of the negative minima in G(M) by an iterative procedure. It is applied to the distribution of Pt crystallite sizes in Pt/Al2O3 reforming catalysts.

Particle Size and Support Effects in Electrocatalysis

Accounts of Chemical Research, 2013
Researchers increasingly recognize that, as with standard supported heterogeneous catalysts, the activity and selectivity of supported metal electrocatalysts are influenced by particle size, particle structure, and catalyst support. Studies using model supported heterogeneous catalysts have provided information about these effects.

Catalysis by Supported Size-Selected Clusters

2009
The use of size-selected metal clusters as model catalysts opens up many exciting new possibilities for the study of size-dependent catalysis. By supporting these size-selected clusters on planar thin-film or single-crystal metal oxide substrates, a variety of analysis techniques can be employed to examine them in detail in an effort to understand how ...
