Anomalous Chiral Fermi Surface
We provide a geometrical argument for the emergence of a Wess-Zumino-Witten (WZW) term for a Fermi surface threaded by a Berry curvature. In the presence of external fields, the gauged WZW term yields a chiral (triangle) anomaly for the fermionic current

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

If SO is a Riemann surface with a complete metric of finite area and constant curvature -1, let SC denote the conformal compactification of SO. We show that, under the assumption that the cusps of SO are large, there is a close relationship between the hyperbolic metrics on SO and SC. We use this relationship to show that

Helimagnetic thin films: surface reconstruction, surface spin-waves and magnetization
Quantum properties of a helimagnetic thin film of simple cubic lattice with Heisenberg spin model are studied using the Green's function method. We find that the spin configuration across the film is strongly non uniform.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Qualitative Performance Indicators of a Ripping-and-Separating Machine for Soil Cultivation
Pre-sowing soil cultivation aims at forming such a soil structure, which will allow increasing the yield. (Research purpose) To determine the qualitative indicators of an experimental soilcultivating ripping-and-separating rotary machine for ...
