Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Influence of Added Surfactants on the Rheology and Surface Activity of Polymer Solutions
Steady-shear rheology and surface activity of surfactant–polymer solutions were investigated experimentally. Four different polymers were studied as follows: cationic hydroxyethyl cellulose, nonionic hydroxyethyl cellulose, nonionic guar gum, and anionic

Antibacterial Activity of the Lipopeptide Biosurfactant Produced by Bacillus mojavensis PTCC 1696 [PDF]
Bacillus mojavensis PTCC 1696 (a member of Bacillus subtilis group) has been isolated from the Iranian oil field (Masjed-I Soleyman), to examine its ability to produce biosurfactant (lipopeptide type) [28].

Optical activity of noncentrosymmetric metals
We describe the phenomenon of optical activity of noncentrosymmetric metals in their normal and superconducting states. The found conductivity tensor contains the linear in wave vector off diagonal part responsible for the natural optical activity.

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...
