Surface Nanocrystallization of U70 Rail Steel Treated by Ultrasonic Impact
Materials Science Forum, 2011The ultrasonic impact treatment on U70 raill steel was carried out under different technology by using HJ-II ultrasonic impact machine. The electric current was 1.5 A, the amplitude was 24 µm and the impact frequency was 10000 HZ during the treatment, the peening duration was 60 min.

Effect of Surface Nanocrystallization on Fatigue Behavior of Pure Titanium
Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance, 2015The high-cycle fatigue behavior was investigated in pure titanium after surface nanocrystallization (SNC Ti). Compared with the coarse-grained titanium (CG Ti) samples, the SNC Ti samples exhibit an improved fatigue life. The SNC has a remarkable influence on the fatigue cracks initiation and growth of pure titanium.
