The N2Ar potential energy surface
Chemical Physics Letters, 1983Abstract The potential energy surface for the N 2 Ar system has been obtained assuming a spherical average interaction previously reported from this laboratory. The angular dependence has been assessed by a combined analysis of the integral and differential scattering cross sections and sonic spectroscope data.

Wake potential in the vicinity of a surface
Physical Review B, 1992An expression for the potential set up by a swift ion when it crosses a solid-vacuum interface is presented. The evaluation of this expression is carried out by using the plasmon-pole approximation for the dielectric function.

Normal thoracic surface potentials
Cardiovascular Research, 1974This paper describes a study to delineate and quantify body surface potentials produced by the electrical activity of the normal heart. Twenty-five male subjects were studied using an array of 126 electrodes applied to the thorax. Unipolar potentials were recorded by an on-line digital computing system which was also used to produce the isopotential ...

Image potential surface states
Physica Scripta, 1987Image potential surface states are a new class of surface states with no occupied predecessor. They show up as a prominent emission feature in inverse photoemission experiments. This paper discusses their experimental identification and behaviour versus gas adsorption and surface temperature changes.

Surface potential at the hematite–water interface
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2005Construction of a metal oxide electrode enabling measurement of surface potential is described. The electrode was made using a hematite monocrystal, which avoids the problems arising from the possible porosity of the oxide layer. The potential of this electrode was measured as a function of pH.

The idea of a potential energy surface
Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 1995Abstract The development of the idea of a potential energy surface is examined in the context of solutions to the full quantum mechanical problem specified by the Schrodinger Hamiltonian expressed in laboratory-fixed coordinates.

Determination of surface potential in liposomes
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Biomembranes, 1981The ability of the fluorescent pH indicator 4-heptadecylumbelliferone to detect the electrical potential at the surface of negatively charged liposomes, was investigated. The vesicles were prepared from mixtures of egg lecithin and dicetyl phosphate at different molar ratios in NaCl solutions of various concentrations.

LASP: Fast global potential energy surface exploration
WIREs Computational Molecular Science, 2019Here we introduce the LASP code, which is designed for large‐scale atomistic simulation of complex materials with neural network (NN) potential. The software architecture and functionalities of LASP will be overviewed.
