Vobramitamab duocarmazine, an anti–B7‐H3 antibody–drug conjugate, in patients with advanced solid tumors: Final results of a phase 1 cohort expansion

open access: yesCancer, Volume 132, Issue 15, 1 August 2026.
Abstract Background Vobramitamab duocarmazine is an investigational antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) targeting B7 homolog 3 (B7‐H3) with a cytotoxic duocarmycin‐based DNA‐alkylating payload. This study evaluated its safety and antitumor activity in advanced solid tumors.

SLC7A5 promotes colorectal cancer liver metastasis by reprogramming tryptophan metabolism through the Kyn/XANA‒AhR axis and reshaping the immune microenvironment

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
SLC7A5‒Kyn/XANA signalling activates AhR to drive EMT and metastatsis. SLC7A5 knockdown enhances macrophage antigen presentation and reverses CD8+ T‐cell exhaustion. SLC7A5 knockdown induces antigen‐driven and IgG‐secreting B‐cell clonal expansion. Combination of SLC7A5 inhibition and anti‐PD‐1 therapy offers clinical targeting.

The evolving landscape of the Warburg effect in gastric cancer: From molecular mechanisms to targeted therapy

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
Hypoxia, oncogenic signaling, transcriptional and epigenetic remodeling, and H. pylori–microbiota interactions drive the Warburg effect in gastric cancer. Enhanced glycolysis and lactate export support biosynthesis, remodel the tumor microenvironment, promote stromal activation and immune suppression, and reveal actionable biomarkers and therapeutic ...

Neutrophil‐based immunotherapy: A metabolic lens on mechanisms and therapeutic implications

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
TAN metabolic reprogramming critically contributes to tumour immune evasion. A 4‑Tier TAN‑MetaC classification framework is proposed, along with an overview of translational opportunities and bottlenecks for TAN metabolism‑targeted immunotherapies. Abstract Background Tumor‐associated neutrophils (TANs) serve as pivotal immune modulators in the tumor ...

Effect of Sugarcane Particle Size on Nutrient Intake, Digestibility, Ingestive Behavior, Growth Performance, Carcass Composition, and Meat Quality of Lambs

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Agricultural Research, Volume 69, Issue 4, August 2026.
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of sugarcane particle size (short and long) on nutrient intake, digestibility, ingestive behavior, growth performance, tissue composition of the leg, centesimal composition, and physicochemical parameters of the meat of feedlot lambs.

Tumor‐Responsive PLGA‐SS‐HA Nanoparticles for Zinc Complex Delivery Suppress Prostate Cancer via TR3/FTH1 Pathway

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 8, August 2026.
A tumor‐responsive PLGA‐SS‐HA nanoplatform enables glutathione‐triggered delivery of zinc complexes to prostate cancer cells. Enhanced intracellular zinc accumulation induces oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis through activation of the TR3/FTH1 signaling pathway.

Early‐Onset Prostate Cancer: Epidemiology, Risk Factors, Biology, Clinical Features, Management, and Early Detection

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
EOPC is a distinct clinicopathological entity separable from SOPC, differing fundamentally in genetic susceptibility, TMPRSS2:ERG fusion frequency, and survival outcomes. Although research remains nascent, this review provides the first comprehensive synthesis of current evidence, offering a critical foundation to guide future investigations into this ...

Cardiovascular Diseases and Cancer: Convergent Proteostasis Networks at the Crossroads of Mechanisms and Therapeutic Opportunities

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
The disruption of proteostasis, encompassing the ubiquitin–proteasome system, autophagy, UPR/ER stress, and chaperone function, represents a fundamental mechanism shared by both cancer and cardiovascular diseases. While these pathways frequently facilitate tumor progression, they are crucial for maintaining proteostasis in cardiac tissue. Consequently,
