Flame‐Retardant Ionogel Enabled by Lignin Molecular Networks for Fire Rescue

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Wearable sensors for harsh, high‐temperature, fire‐prone environments face challenges in heat resistance and stability. This study introduces a flame‐retardant, waterproof glycol lignin ionogel (GLI) with a robust 3D network, exceptional tensile strength, strong adhesion, biocompatibility, eco‐safety, and dual temperature‐motion sensing, even after ...

Reconfigurable In–S Coordination in SPAN Cathodes: Unlocking High Sulfur Utilization and Fast Kinetics for Practical Li‒S Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An amorphous indium–sulfur complex is embedded in SPAN matrix to create reversible In–S coordination bonds that dynamically break and reform during cycling. This bond reconfiguration actively anchors intermediate polysulfides and accelerates sulfur conversion kinetics, providing simultaneously high active material utilization and durable cycling ...

Achieving Anti‐Disproportionation Performance Enhancement and Distorted Inverse‐Disproportionation Reaction Correction of Zr2Fe‐Based Hydrogen Isotope Storage Alloys via Element Substitution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Undesirable phase transition behavior and anti‐disproportionation performance limit the hydrogen isotope storage of Zr2Fe alloy. With theoretical screening and experiments, partial Cu/Ni substitutions achieve full reversibility and significantly improve anti‐disproportionation properties.

Guest‐Induced Reversible Phase Conversion via Spin Frustration Relief in Spin‐Intercalated Layered Antiferromagnets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Reversible switching between “evident” (evident spin frustration, FR‐e) and “hidden” (hidden spin frustration, FR‐h) frustrated behavior is realized for the first time in spin‐intercalated layered magnets by regulating the competitive magnetic environment of JLL and JLS via solvent ad‐/desorption.

Shielding Si Armed with CoSi2 Nanoplates and Dual‐Carbon Shells: 3D Porous Microspheres as High‐Performance Anodes for Li‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The lithium‐ion battery anode is designed utilizing 3D porous microspheres comprising Si armed with CoSi2 multi‐cores encapsulated within dual protective shells of metallic‐Co embedded nitrogen‐doped graphitic carbon (NGC) and polydopamine‐derived carbon (PDA‐C).
