Miro1 Protects Against Acute Kidney Injury Through Modulating Mitochondrial Homeostasis via Interaction With Sirt6

Ischemia‐reperfusion reduces Sirt6 activity, thereby increasing Miro1 acetylation. CircZNF148 stabilizes HK1 through deubiquitinase recruitment, thereby enhancing glycolysis and lactate production. Carcinoembryonic Antigen Messenger RNA in Pelvic Lavage Fluid Predicts Local Recurrence After Curative‐Intent Resection of Rectal Cancer

Pelvic lavage carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) mRNA was quantified in 178 patients undergoing curative‐intent resection for rectal cancer. Positive pelvic lavage CEA mRNA was significantly associated with local recurrence and provided additional prognostic information beyond circumferential resection margin (CRM) status.
