A deep relearning method based on the recurrent neural network for land cover classification
Recent developments in deep learning (DL) techniques have provided a series of new methods for land cover classification. However, most DL-based methods do not consider the rich spatial association of land cover classes embedded in remote sensing images.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Why human connection is the true metric of research success
Human‐centred mentorship can be shaped by mentor attributes, actions, intrinsic drive and career ambition. Drawing on reflections across Singapore and France, as well as workshop insights from FEBS‐IUBMB ENABLE 2024, this article shows that human‐centred mentorship creates the conditions for sustainable growth, well‐being and retention in research ...

A Review of Research on the Stability of Fine-Grained Sediments in Debris Flows
Fine-grained sediments in debris flows refer to Quaternary sediments with grain sizes smaller than 2 mm. Their stability is closely related to the initial water threshold that triggers the debris flows and thus controls the density, scale, and damage of ...
