New Developments in the SWAT Ecohydrology Model

21st Century Watershed Technology: Improving Water Quality and Environment Conference Proceedings, 21-24 February 2010, Universidad EARTH, Costa Rica, 2010
The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model is a river basin scale hydrologic and water quality model that is currently being used for national conservation and environmental assessments in the U.S. and for watershed planning around the world. Current developments include submodels for landscape routing, plant competition, metal fate and transport,

SWAT Model Background and Application Reviews

2003, Las Vegas, NV July 27-30, 2003, 2003
Watershed scale hydrologic and nonpoint source pollution models must be thoroughly tested by applying them to watersheds of different sizes and characteristics and from different geographic and geologic locations before using them to assess environmental conditions, evaluate best management practices, and making water resources management decisions.

Uporaba modela SWAT za hidrološko modeliranje: Application of the SWAT model for hydrological modelling:

2017

Pesticide Modelling for a Small Catchment Using SWAT-2000

Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B, 2006
Pesticides in stream flow from the 142 ha Colworth catchment in Bedfordshire, UK were monitored from October 1999 to December 2000. About 47% of the catchment is tile-drained and different pesticides and cropping patterns have recently been evaluated in terms of their effect on nutrient and pesticide losses to the stream.

Applications of the SWAT Model Special Section: Overview and Insights

Journal of Environmental Quality, 2014
The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model has emerged as one of the most widely used water quality watershed- and river basin-scale models worldwide, applied extensively for a broad range of hydrologic and/or environmental problems. The international use of SWAT can be attributed to its flexibility in addressing water resource problems, extensive

Modeling Kucuk Menderes Watershed with SWAT

2019
Water resources in Kucuk Menderes Watershed have been adversely affected by anthropogenic activities and climate change. Increasing population and uncontrolled water uses have transformed the watershed into a water-stressed watershed. Modeling studies in water resources are required to solve these problems in the watershed.
