FLZ protected SH-SY5Y (APPwt/swe) cells from apoptosis.

open access: yes, 2013
SH-SY5Y (APPwt/swe) cells were grown in “stimulating medium” containing 50% DMEM, 50% Opti-MEM, 0.5% FBS, 200 µg/ml G418 and 10 mM butyric acid sodium salt for 12 h to induce the transgene expression.

Kat5 cKO mouse replicates biological domain signatures associated with Alzheimer's disease

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Alzheimer's disease (AD) can be caused by autosomal‐dominant familial Alzheimer's disease (FAD) mutations in amyloid precursor protein (APP) or presenilin‐1 and 2, which form an enzyme substrate complex. KAT5 binds to the APP intracellular domain.

Twin‐To‐Twin Transfusion Syndrome in Dichorionic‐Triamniotic Triplets Successfully Managed Without Fetoscopic Laser: A Management‐Focused Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Triplet pregnancies are rare (~0.1% of births) and often complicated by prematurity. When one placental unit is monochorionic, there is a risk of twin‐to‐twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a severe vascular imbalance affecting monochorionic gestations.

Sensitivity of Large‐Scale Hydrological Predictions to Precipitation Phase Partitioning Methods Under a Changing Climate

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 7, July 2026.
Future warming shifts precipitation from snow to rain across the Saskatchewan River Basin, reducing snow water equivalent and advancing snowmelt timing. Differences among precipitation phase‐partitioning methods propagate from snowpack accumulation to runoff magnitude and timing, producing earlier spring flows and higher peak discharge.
