Seven-Level Inverter With Self-Balanced Switched-Capacitor and Its Cascaded Extension

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2019
A switched-capacitor based seven-level inverter is proposed in this work. It consists of two capacitors, two diodes, and eight transistors. The eight transistors form two H-bridges resulting in a simple structure and easy design of gate drivers ...

Switched-Capacitor Circuits

2016
The elusive goal of the lossless charge transfer from one circuit node to another has been the main focus of analog sampled-data processing starting from the bucket brigade and CCD to switched-capacitor circuits. Opamp with capacitive feedback is the most accurate analog component that can sample and amplify signal with highest accuracy.

Switched-Capacitor Quasi-Switched Boost Inverters

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2018
In this paper, two switched-capacitor quasi-switched boost inverters (qSBIs) are proposed. By adding one capacitor and one diode to the qSBIs, the proposed inverters achieve high voltage gain with low voltage stress on active switches, capacitors, and diodes. The proposed inverters can extend to n -cell for voltage gain improvement.

Switched capacitor techniques

1996
In Chapter 4 we discussed the overall decisions that must be made in designing a practical VLSI neural network. Technology, area, power, speed, memory, I/O, packaging, noise and testability all need to be considered. Two of the implementations presented there (Section 4.2.3, Section 4.2.7 and Section 4.2.8) are analysed in this case study.

Switched-Capacitor Filters

2019
It is rare that a new discipline can be traced back to the publication of a single paper. Information theory is such a discipline. Another, although less dramatic, is the discipline of switched capacitors. In a 1977 paper by Hosticka, Broderson, and Grey of Berkeley University entitled “MOS Sampled-Data Recursive Filters Using State-Variable Techniques,

Switched capacitor filters

1991
Switched capacitor filters have now been around for a decade and many powerful and sophisticated design techniques have been developed. In view of the excellent literature on this subject to which the reader may refer, the present chapter has the rather specific aim of presenting some advances developed by the authors which have made a contribution ...

Switched-Capacitor Circuits

2014
This chapter introduces SC circuits. A brief description is given for the main building blocks of a SC filter (operational amplifiers, switches, capacitors, and non-overlapping clock phases). A few examples of SC resistor emulation circuits are presented along with their equivalent resistance. Two examples of SC integrators are also shown, one with the
