ABSTRACT With the increasing number of Chinese international students in Australian universities, intercultural competence has become a critical factor influencing their interactions with Australian tutors in university classroom settings. Existing research often examines students’ intercultural competence from a single‐method or single‐perspective ...

Evaluation of Sparse PWM Converter for Switched Reluctance Generator
The paper investigates the operation of a novel power converter for the switched reluctance generator. The sparse PWM converters reduce switch count and eliminate the front-end current smoothing inductor which leads to a low cost and small converter.

Design and optimization for the linear switched reluctance generator
In this paper, a novel double-sided direct-drive linear generator based on switched reluctance principle is proposed. In order to acquire a higher power density, the optimization of structure parameters for the double-sided linear switched reluctance generator (DLSRG) is carried out.

Dynamic simulation model of switched reluctance generator
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2003This paper deals with a numerical model of the switched reluctance generator (SRG) for use on a general-purpose circuit simulation program "SPICE". In the model, the electric circuit and magnetic circuit are coupled by proper controlled sources. Using the numerical model, we can readily calculate the dynamic behavior of the SRG.

Study on switched reluctance generator
Journal of Zhejiang University-SCIENCE A, 2004The linear and non-linear math models of the switched reluctance generator (SRG) in generator mode were established in this work. The phase current and energy conversion process during generator operation were simulated by the linear math model. The non-linear math model was used to analyze the characteristics of the SRG operation in self-excitation ...

The modelling and the simulation of the switched reluctance generator
2008 34th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2008This paper presents a new design SRG (Switched Reluctance Generator) that has untraditional pole construction and small coupling due to its magnetic characteristic. Firstly, the dynamic model of the SRG is derived as a magnetic circuit. One of the most important aspects of study for simulating and modelling, is the measurement of the motor parameters ...

Design and simulation of a linear switched reluctance generator for wave energy conversion
This paper investigates the direct-drive linear switched reluctance generator for wave energy conversion. A double-sided linear switched reluctance generator is designed. Its nonlinear flux characteristics are simulated by finite element method.

Switched Reluctance Starter/Generator
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1992<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper describes the characteristics of the switched reluctance motor (SRM) used as a generator. In this mode of operation the SRM is unique in that it does not employ permanent magnets or a field winding on its rotor.
