Abstract The introduction of new educational technologies into resource‐challenged learning environments is often hindered by several factors, with the lack of infrastructure and computer hardware being only one critical aspect. The COVID‐19 pandemic required a sudden switch to online learning and accelerated the implementation of e‐learning approaches

This paper presents the modelling, simulation and comparative study between switched reluctance generator 8x6 and switched reluctance generator 12x8. During work, the structural properties of the rotor and stator laminates of these machines are exposed. This information was used to perform mathematical modelling for both topologies.

Design and simulation of a novel planar switched reluctance generator
A novel two-dimensional (2D) direct-drive generator based on switched reluctance principle is proposed in this paper. Due to its unique structure, the device is considered as a 2D power generator for sustainable energy utilization such as wind and wave ...

Abstract While Gaokao, the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE), has been extensively discussed outside the Chinese academic circle, the retake policy of the test has not received much attention. Moreover, Gaokao research in China has predominantly examined the effectiveness of the retake decision in relation to students' demographic ...

A neuro‐behavioural model of neophobia
ABSTRACT Fear can be defined as the internal neurological state that releases a repertoire of behaviours an animal performs to reduce the effect of an aversive factor. Neophobia, the fear of novelty, is a fundamental behavioural trait observed across a wide range of species from arthropods to humans.

Analysis of a Switched-Reluctance Generator for Maximum Energy Conversion
A successful analytical expression for maximum energy conversion in terms of DC-bus voltage and turn on/off angles of a Switched Reluctance Generator (SRG) based on self-excitation mode, single pulse operation is presented. The proposed analytical model, which can describe nonlinear of the magnetic characteristics of a SRG with sufficient accuracy, is ...
