Improved switched-capacitor algorithmic analogue-to-digital convertor

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1985
A novel switched-capacitor circuit is presented for algorithmic analogue-to-digital conversion. Besides the reduced component count, the proposed circuit shows that it can accept a differential analogue signal. A conversion accuracy higher than 12 bits is easily attainable with its integrated version.

Design of Optimal QFT Controller and Prefilter for Buck Converter Using Metaheuristic Algorithms

open access: yesModelling and Simulation in Engineering, 2018
A buck converter is a step-down switching regulator. Buck convertors are being widely used in industrial applications that rely on regulated output voltage under fluctuating input voltage.

An On-line Diagnostic Method for Open-circuit Switch Faults in NPC Multilevel Converters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
On-line condition monitoring is of paramount importance for multilevel converters used in safety-critical applications. A novel on-line diagnostic method for detecting open-circuit switch faults in neutral-point-clamped (NPC) multilevel converters is ...

Switched-capacitor pipelined logarithmic A/D and D/A convertors [PDF]

open access: yesIEE Proceedings G Circuits, Devices and Systems, 1991
The paper presents two switched- capacitor circuits with modest complexity to implement a pipelined logarithmic digital- analogue convertor (LDAC) and logarithmic analogue-digital convertor (LADC), respectively, which spend only one clock time per conversion.

A versatile all-channel stimulator for electrode arrays, with real-time control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Over the last few decades, technology to record through ever increasing numbers of electrodes has become available to electrophysiologists. For the study of distributed neural processing, however, the ability to stimulate through equal numbers of ...

Switched-capacitor immittance convertors using a single operational amplifier

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1980
The improved switched-capacitor immittance convertors using a single operational amplifier are proposed. The general scheme which enables the conversion of the capacitive (n + 1)-terminal networks into the corresponding bilinearly equivalent networks consisting of LC parallel branches is also proposed.

Stepwise Crystalline Structural Transformation in 0D Hybrid Antimony Halides with Triplet Turn-on and Color-Adjustable Luminescence Switching

open access: yesResearch, 2023
Intelligent stimuli-responsive fluorescence materials are extremely pivotal for fabricating luminescent turn-on switching in solid-state photonic integration technology, but it remains a challenging objective for typical 3-dimensional (3D) perovskite ...

Novel capacitance-ratio-independent switched-capacitor digital-analogue convertor

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1989
A novel switched-capacitor (SC digital-to-analogue (D/A) convertor is presented which exhibits high linearity owing to a capacitance-ratio-independent conversion algorithm. The core of the convertor consists of an SC circuit which processes the digital word, bit-by-bit, by integrating the reference voltage for a number of time slots corresponding to ...

Characteristic curves for analysing limit cyclebehaviour in switching convertors

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1999
The concept of characteristic curves (CCs) for analysing the behaviour of limit cycles in elementary DC-DC switching converters is introduced. The CC is derived by considering opposite vector fields in the on and off configurations. Feedback regulated converters with PWM or hysteresis control are investigated using this approach.

Defect‐Induced, Ferroelectric‐Like Switching and Adjustable Dielectric Tunability in Antiferroelectrics

open access: yesAdvances in Materials, 2023
Antiferroelectrics, which undergo a field‐induced phase transition to ferroelectric order that manifests as double‐hysteresis polarization switching, exhibit great potential for dielectric, electromechanical, and electrothermal applications.
