Machine Learning a Predictive Tool for the Analysis of NiCo2S4/Graphene Composites for Supercapacitor

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
The present review explores the recent advancements of NiCo2S4/graphene nanocomposite as a promising active material for supercapacitors. Machine learning models are demonstrated to analyze the specific capacitance variation with respect to different synthesis parameters, morphology, energy density, and power density.

A green process for effective direct recycling and reuse of graphite from End‐of‐Life Li‐ion batteries black mass

open access: yesChemSusChem, Accepted Article.
The demand for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) is posing challenges in the management of end‐of‐life (EoL) systems and supply of critical raw materials (CRMs). Such challenges can be addressed by recycling EoL LIBs through sustainable processes, involving metallurgy to recover higher‐value metals like Co, Ni and Li.

Intestinal Barrier Glycosylation for Gut Physiology and Pathology

open access: yesBarrier Immunity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The intestinal barrier is a selective structure that safeguards the body from external threats while permitting nutrient absorption and immune surveillance. It consists of the outer mucus layer, the intermediate layer of intestinal epithelial cells (IECs), and the inner layer of immune cells. The proteins in the mucus layer and within IECs are
