Synchronous colonic malignancy [PDF]
Synchronous colorectal neoplasias, defined as 2 or more primary tumors identified in the same patient and at the same time, are caused by common genetic and environmental factors.

An immunomodulatory hydrogel (iGEL) forms spontaneously upon subcutaneous injection, acting as a tissue‐adhesive depot. It releases anti‐rejection and regenerative agents in response to inflammation, suppressing T‐cell activity, promoting vascular repair, and restoring allograft function without systemic immunosuppression.

Fundamentals of Synchronous Control in Modelica [PDF]
The scope of Modelica 3.3 has been extended from a language primarily intended for physical systems modeling to modeling of complete systems by allowing the modeling of control systems and enabling automatic code generation for embedded systems.

Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

Primary lung neoplasms presenting as multiple synchronous lung nodules
Multiple synchronous lung nodules are frequently encountered on computed tomography (CT) scanning of the chest and are most commonly either non-neoplastic or metastases from a known primary malignancy.

Selenium Nanoparticles Selectively Target KRAS G13D to Inhibit Colorectal Cancer
The mechanisms of SeNPs therapy in cancer treatment, encompass three parallel actions: (1) seleno‐amino acids, key metabolites, upregulate GPX2 expression, thereby inhibiting tumor metastasis via the GPX2‐HIF1α‐VEGF signaling pathway; (2) selenite (SeO32−), an inorganic metabolite, forms hydrogen bonds with amino acid residues 13–17 of the KRAS G13D ...

Glioma resection surgery is challenging because of the infiltrative growth of the tumor into nearby tissue and the different surgical requirements for gliomas with different mutation types. To improve the precision and effectiveness of glioma resection, this study developed a new imaging probe that enables the tumor boundary and mutation status to be ...

The thyroid metastasis from any primary is rare, and usually is a late event and presents as a thyroid swelling. Further, the diagnosis of a metastatic lesion in a patient with no antecedent history of any malignancy can be very challenging.

A microfluidic device with monolithically integrated nanostructures enables high‐throughput wounding of the cell membrane and nuclear envelope. The spatial distribution of charged multivesicular body protein 4B (CHMP4B) within the cell is mapped before and after wounding, showing involvement in repair of both the cell membrane and nuclear envelope ...

In bladder cancer, LRG1 binds to ANXA2 to trigger mitochondrial ROS‐dependent NETosis. This pathogenic cascade actively uncouples endothelial‐mural cell interactions, driving profound vascular destabilization. Consequently, targeting the LRG1‐ANXA2 axis attenuates the neutrophil burden and induces structural vascular normalization, offering a powerful ...
