The oxygen spillover from Ir to the oxide support with interfacial oxygen vacancies during OER is revealed. These interfacial oxygen vacancies as an oxygen transport zone not only regulate the in situ Ir catalytic structure toward boosted activity but also suppress Ir over‐oxidation via directional OH‐filling effects, thereby ensuring overall high ...

Statistical Description of Synchrotron Intensity Fluctuations: Studies of Astrophysical Magnetic Turbulence [PDF]
We provide a theoretical description of synchrotron fluctuations arising from magnetic turbulence. We derive an expression that relates the correlation of synchrotron fluctuations for an arbitrary index of relativistic electrons with the correlations of squared fluctuations of magnetic field component perpendicular to the line of sight.

Elucidating Sodium Ion Storage Mechanisms in Hard Carbon Anodes at the Electronic Level
High‐resolution, multi‐frequency continuous wave, and pulsed Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy uncover the intricate Na ion storage mechanisms in hard carbon. This study reveals the coexistence of Na ion intercalation and solvent co‐intercalation, alongside a subsequent transition of Na ions from ionic to quasi‐metallic to metallic ...

Novel conjugated polymers with side‐chain π‐conjugation are developed to enhance organic thermoelectric properties. Remarkably, the pendant doping in the conjugated polymers preserved strong intermolecular ordering in the film states even at high FeCl3 dopant concentrations (16 – 32 mM), achieving a promising power factor > 10 µW m−1 K−2 across a wide ...

Tracing magnetic fields by the synergies of synchrotron emission gradients [PDF]
This paper studies how to employ synchrotron emission gradient techniques to reveal the properties of the magnetic field within the interstellar media. Based on data cubes of three-dimensional numerical simulations of magnetohydrodynamic turbulence, we explore spatial gradients of synchrotron emission diagnostics to trace the direction of the magnetic ...

A multifunctional hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating integrated with silver‐gallium liquid metal nanoparticles (HAp‐Ag‐GaNPs) exhibits dual antibacterial and osteogenic properties. It effectively inhibits Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, including resistant strains, while enhancing bone regeneration.

This study examines the surface characteristics of AlInP (001), crucial for advanced solar cells and photoelectrochemical devices. Using theoretical modeling and experiments, it identifies how phosphorus‐rich and indium‐rich surfaces create mid‐gap states that pin the Fermi level and influence ultrafast electron dynamics.

A Homeostatic Photonic Device Integrating Vapor‐Regulated Thermo‐Optical Feedback Mechanisms
An inorganic homeostatic photonic device is designed to autonomously regulate light, temperature, and vapor sorption through integrated positive and negative feedback mechanisms at multiple wavelengths. The device uses a graded mesoporous 1D photonic crystal coupled with a photothermal layer.

Gamma Ray Burst Prompt Emission Variability in Synchrotron and Synchrotron Self-Compton Lightcurves [PDF]
Gamma Ray Burst prompt emission is believed to originate from electrons accelerated in a highly relativistic outflow. "Internal shocks" due to collisions between shells ejected by the central engine is a leading candidate for electron acceleration.
