Design optimization of SynRM with Ladybird rotor
2017 International Conference on Optimization of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (OPTIM) & 2017 Intl Aegean Conference on Electrical Machines and Power Electronics (ACEMP), 2017A Ladybird High Speed Synchronous Reluctance Machine (LB-HS-SynRM) with deterministic rotor parameterization has been studied. The primary aim is to derive design rules for SynRM optimization with a novel Ladybird rotor topology. The second goal is to investigate the effect of parameters on machine performance.
